Le train est en effet moins polluant et moins dangereux que le transport routier. Il pourrait \u00e9galement permettre de concilier les objectifs de r\u00e9industrialisation et de protection du climat dans notre pays.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Toutefois, Fret SNCF est en grand danger aujourd\u2019hui. Cette entreprise publique a \u00e9t\u00e9 affaiblie par plusieurs plans de restructuration successifs. La part modale du transport ferroviaire sur l\u2019ensemble des marchandises transport\u00e9es en France est ainsi pass\u00e9e de 14,6&nbsp;% en 2009 \u00e0 10,7&nbsp;% en 2021. Fret SNCF assurait 50&nbsp;% de ce total, tout en ayant perdu plus de 10.000 emplois sur la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fret SNCF est d\u00e9sormais menac\u00e9e par un plan de discontinuit\u00e9, relatif au soutien financier de l\u2019\u00c9tat dont l\u2019entreprise aurait b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9. Les cons\u00e9quences seront catastrophiques&nbsp;: Fret SNCF va devoir abandonner pour 10 ans 23 lignes de train \u00ab&nbsp;d\u00e9di\u00e9s&nbsp;\u00bb, au moment m\u00eame o\u00f9 le transport combin\u00e9 est en net d\u00e9veloppement, pour se concentrer sur le wagon isol\u00e9, plus difficile \u00e0 op\u00e9rer. Fret SNCF devra \u00e9galement se s\u00e9parer de 62 locomotives, sur un parc de pr\u00e8s de 730 machines, d&rsquo;actifs immobiliers et op\u00e9rer le transfert de 10 % des effectifs vers la SNCF pour le transport de voyageurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u2019autres solutions \u00e9taient pourtant envisageables. En choisissant d\u2019appliquer \u00e0 la lettre le plan de discontinuit\u00e9, le gouvernement risque de r\u00e9duire \u00e0 peau de chagrin la part du ferroviaire en France, un choix \u00e0 rebours de l\u2019urgence \u00e9cologique. L\u2019ambition de doubler la part de fret d\u2019ici 2030 est incompatible avec ce plan de discontinuit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Audition Jean-Pierre Farandou - PDG du groupe SNCF\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9SyNPcL-nc8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Avec le comit\u00e9 de vigilance ferroviaire, qui regroupe plusieurs organisations syndicales, partis politiques et associations, nous exigeons au contraire la mise en place d\u2019un moratoire. Lors d\u2019une conf\u00e9rence de presse commune le 29 avril, nous avons collectivement exprim\u00e9 la crainte d\u2019une disparition pure et simple de Fret SNCF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pierrebarros.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Comite-vigilance-ferroviaire-1.jpg?resize=1024%2C768&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1126\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pierrebarros.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Comite-vigilance-ferroviaire-1.jpg?resize=1024%2C768&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pierrebarros.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Comite-vigilance-ferroviaire-1.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pierrebarros.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Comite-vigilance-ferroviaire-1.jpg?resize=768%2C576&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pierrebarros.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Comite-vigilance-ferroviaire-1.jpg?resize=1536%2C1152&amp;ssl=1 1536w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pierrebarros.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Comite-vigilance-ferroviaire-1.jpg?w=2048&amp;ssl=1 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Enfin, \u00e0 quelques semaines des Europ\u00e9ennes, il y a urgence de faire de cette question un enjeu majeur de l\u2019\u00e9lection. Le Green Deal ou Pacte vert a pour objectif de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions nettes d\u2019au moins 55&nbsp;% en Europe d\u2019ici 2030, pour nous permettre ensuite de devenir le premier continent neutre pour le climat d\u2019ici 2050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pourtant, \u00e0 rebours de ces annonces, L\u2019Europe multiplie les d\u00e9cisions controvers\u00e9es : plan de discontinuit\u00e9 donc, mais aussi choix de la route avec l\u2019adoption d\u2019une nouvelle directive europ\u00e9enne qui pr\u00e9voit d\u2019autoriser la circulation de m\u00e9ga-camions, pouvant mesurer jusqu\u2019\u00e0 25 m\u00e8tres de long et peser jusqu\u2019\u00e0 60 tonnes. Ces m\u00e9ga-camions r\u00e9duiront certes de 20&nbsp;% les \u00e9missions de CO2 par tonne de marchandises transport\u00e9e, mais ils resteront plus de 9 fois plus polluant que le fret ferroviaire. Un train peut transporter en moyenne l\u2019\u00e9quivalent de 50 camions.
